Calvin C. LaRoche

Calvin C. LaRoche is a nationally proven leader with significant general management experience. Mr. LaRoche co-founded DC Ventures and Associates, LLC, which develops and executes successful merger and acquisitions strategies in the information technology industry.

Mr. LaRoche joined The Orkand Corporation, a Federal information technology services provider, in May 2000 as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, and became Chief Operating Officer in September 2001. He held a top secret clearance. Prior to joining The Orkand Corporation, he joined SkyTel in June 1994 as Senior Vice President for SkyTel Communications Inc., and Chief Executive Officer and President of SkyTel's international operations. Before joining SkyTel, he was a Director of Strategic Development for IBM at the company's headquarters in Armonk, New York. During a 24-year career with IBM, Mr. LaRoche became a founding partner in the creation and management of IBM Consulting Group.

Mr. LaRoche is chairman emeritus of the Board of Trustees of Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Education - Political Science from Central State University in Ohio, and also completed study in IBM's Leadership Development curriculum and Advanced Business Institute.
