Chandler R. Nutall


Chandler Nutall is a Fellow with the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs – New York City. In this program, she is immersing herself in an intensive exploration of current cross-sector issues and learning from leaders at the forefront of social change. She is using this fellowship to refine her career aspirations and leadership skills to guide her as she prepares for law school.

A native of Washington, D.C., Chandler graduated Summa Cum Laude from Spelman College in May 2023 where she was named Co-Valedictorian of her class. At Spelman, Chandler was president of the Spelman Student Government Association, a Social Justice Fellow, and an Ethel Waddell Githii Honors Scholar. Before beginning her matriculation at Spelman, she earned her Associate of Arts degree in high school from The George Washington University through a dual- enrollment program.

In 2020, Chandler launched and hosted the “Fireside Spel-Chat” series, which featured monthly Zoom discussions where Spelman’s students, administrators, and faculty members explored how students can succeed despite the academic, mental, emotional, and social pressures of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, Chandler was named an HBCU Competitiveness Scholar by the White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity through HBCUs. In 2022, she became an Arthur Liman Public Interest Law Fellow through Yale Law School and a Harry S. Truman Scholarship Finalist for the Washington D.C. I region.

Chandler is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
