Casandra Woodall is the senior director for business strategy at the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). She works closely with the ISTE learning team to develop exciting, new professional learning offerings for ISTE members that increase the year-round value of membership. She also explores other potential areas for professional learning expansion including ISTE’s Artificial Intelligence, Librarian, and Online Learning Initiatives.
Prior to joining ISTE, she supported the revision of the National Ed Tech Plan. And also supported the Future Ready States initiative at the Office of Educational Technology at the U.S. Department of Education where she provided technical assistance for states and districts in the effective use of educational technology.
She has dedicated 10+ years in the education sector and served as an Education Pioneer Fellow for District of Columbia Public Schools and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. She joined Teach For America as a corps member in 2010 and taught special education at a bilingual school in Washington, D.C.
