Dane E. Holmes is co-founder and CEO of Eskalera. Eskalera, a SAAS company, brings work tech solutions to medium and large enterprises. He cameomes to Eskalera after 19 years at Goldman Sachs where he was the former head of Human Capital Management and head of Pine Street for Goldman Sachs. He served as a member of the firm’s Management Committee and Partnership Committee. WhileHe spent his the last few years leading Goldman’s HR division, where he prioritized leadership development, diversity, and employee and manager experience. Through these efforts, he noticed a massive gap in many HR practices – the lack of robust data analytics and scalable solutions to drive decision making, culture and people’s experiences. Now he’s leading Eskalera’s efforts to help organizations elevate their people, companies and cultures through knowledge, skills, connections and data-backed insightsgreater employee engagement, productivity and growth, with a particular focus on creating a more inclusive, high performance work culture environment.
In his nearly 19 years at Goldman Sachs, he worked in four different divisions: from CHRO in Human Capital Management to Head of Investor Relations in the Executive Office to leading the Financial Institutions financing group in Investment Banking and as the Head of Financial Institutions Risk Management and Advisory in the Finance Division. Clearly, his career path has been varied and in many cases non-traditional. And and his move to Eskalera is a continuation of that story. His one constant has been having a passion for the work and passion for the people!
In addition to serving as our Chair of Trustees, Dane is also a board member of KKR & Co. and the Vice Chairman of the board of StoryCorps. Dane graduated from Columbia University with a degree in architecture and was a four year letter winner for the basketball team.
