Eric S. Teasley

Eric is interested in the power of technology to improve human health and well-being. In 2007 he received his BS in chemical engineering with distinction from Stanford University, where he was a member of the varsity fencing team, the National Society of Black Engineers, and Tau Beta Pi. Eric is currently completing an MD and a PhD in bioengineering under Stanford’s Medical Scientist Training Program. Supported by the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine, his PhD focuses on developing novel methods of collecting and processing adult stem cells for personalized stem cell therapies.

Outside of the laboratory, Eric enjoys contributing his technical expertise to social change efforts and to service in his community, where he advises high school students on their science fair projects. His hobbies include dance, snow sports, and travel.
