Julie Crisp is a partner in the Tax Department of Latham & Watkins LLP, and also serves as the Vice Chair of the firm’s Recruiting Committee. Her practice focuses on executive compensation and employee benefits, and covers a broad range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, initial public offerings, financings, private and public company representation, and executive representation. In these matters, Ms. Crisp represents clients of all types across all industries, from public and private companies to private equity funds to individual executives. She regularly counsels clients with respect to merger agreements and other transaction documents, employment and severance arrangements, equity and other incentive compensation arrangements, Securities and Exchange Commission filings and compliance with tax and securities laws. Ms. Crisp holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, and received her J.D. from the University of Southern California, where she served on the board of USC’s Moot Court Honors Program and as a teaching fellow in the Legal Writing and Advocacy Department.
