In 1998, Marc Knight graduated as Valedictorian of Elmont Memorial High School and was selected to be a Ron Brown Scholar based on his outstanding academic achievements and community service.  After graduation, Marc attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, MA.

As an undergraduate at MIT, he was a double major in both Computer Science and Management Science – concentrating in finance.  In 2003, he graduated with a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in addition to his bachelor degrees.  His thesis work focused on designing an online laboratory where teams of students could perform experiments using laboratory equipment using a web-based interface.  During his time at MIT, Marc was an active member of his fraternity – Kappa Sigma, where he served as President and participated in intramural sports.  He also worked as a tutor in MIT’s MITES program and participated in community service activities for Circle K.

Since graduating from MIT in 2003, Marc has been employed by Morgan Stanley where he worked as a municipal derivatives trader within their fixed income division.   As an avid real estate entrepreneur, Marc owns several properties in the New York and Miami area, and is currently making it a full time career after leaving Wall Street.  He is focused on distressed condo properties in the Miami area and has a website: Miami Condo Shop.  In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and has recently completed trips to Europe and South America.
